CONCEPTUAL DOUBT : If from a charged ring ,elementary charge dq is removed , then what will be the electric field intensity at the centre due to the rest of the portion ?

If charge dq is removed from the ring, the electric field at centre would be equal to the electric feild due to the removed part dq . Because all other portions would counter balance each other's electric feild but electric field of part present just opposite to the removed part won't be counter-balanced.

if only charge is removed and structure is remain same, with the ring is conductor, then the E field remain zero as charge will uniformly distributed and the electric field of each point will nullify that of opposite point. In other cases the deduction (and formula) may be complicated.

Bro,there's a difference between charge and elementary charge. So if we consider this , the answer may be different.
