How expressions are formed?

Dear Student,

Please find below the solution to the asked query:

It's totally depends on the nature of our terms of algebraic expression  , So

After addition of Two algebraic expression with three terms each , we get new algebraic expression , As :

Let first algebraic expression   =  x + y  + z
And
Second algebraic expression = a + b  + c

So, After addition we get  = x + y  + z  + a + b  + c     ,  That is new algebraic expression

Or

Let first algebraic expression   =  x + y  + z
And
Second algebraic expression = x + y  + z

So, After addition we get  = x + y  + z  + x + y  + z     =  2x +2 y  +2  z , That is new algebraic expression

Or

Total price of 7 pencils and 5 pens is Rs. 29. Write it down in the algebraic expression

Solution : Let the cost of 1 pencil be Rs x and the cost of 1 pen be Rs y.

According to the question, the algebraic representation is

7 x + 5 y = 29

dear friend
your answer is given below                                                                                                                                                                            A variable is denoted by 'x,y,z…' and it can hold many values whereas a constant has a fixed value. The combination of variables and constants makes up an algebraic expression.
