In AQP  and ABC, we have   APQ=ACB   Alternate interior angles as BCPQ   PAQ=CAB   Vertically opposite anglesThus, AQP~ABC   By AAsimilarity criteriaWe know that in similar triangles, the corresponding sides are proportional.This gives,   APAC=AQAB=PQBCSubstitute the given values to get,     2.8AC=AQ6.5=48This gives,   2.8AC=48  and    AQ6.5=48AC=2.8×84  and AQ=4×6.58AC=5.6 cm  and AQ=3.25 cm

Hi Vaibhav, triangles ABC and APQ are similar triangles.
Also ABC is larger one which is two times bigger
Because it is given BC/PQ = 8/4 = 2
So AB = 2 AQ
Given AB = 6.5
So AQ = 3.25 cm
And AC = 2 AP
Given AP = 2,8
So AC = 5.6 cm
