CBSE Board Exam 2019 Analysis: Class 12 Chemistry

The Board exam for class 12 Chemistry was conducted on March 12, 2019. Here’s a brief analysis of the paper by our Chemistry expert at Meritnation.

After a difficult Physics exam, today’s Chemistry exam brought a relief for the students. The difficulty level was average and anyone who spent quality time reading the NCERT books should be able to crack 70% questions easily. Furthermore, the paper was optimally long, which allowed students to solve the questions with ease, and also get ample time for revision.

Students generally fear the Physical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry portion, which were comparatively easier this year. The Inorganic Chemistry portion offered some difficult questions but a conceptual understanding was enough to crack them as well. In conclusion, the overall level of today’s paper was easy.
