The Central Board of Secondary Education announced the dates for Class 10 Board exams for the year 2020, and has reportedly started making preparations for Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams. The board has revised the commencement date for the 10th and 12th board examination from March to February. The exams are to be scheduled around the 15th of February. The Board has drafted a basic date sheet for the exams for both board classes.

As is the norm, exams will be conducted for the main CBSE subjects followed by the vocational subjects. It is reported that the order of the subjects for Class 10 and 12 will be based on the number of students opting for each subject. Till now, there have been no updates about conducting the practical examination externally. For classes 9 and 11, those who have taken admission before July 18 are only eligible to take the exams.

Practical exam dates

The Delhi Court has asked the board to undertake the process of revaluation of June 2018 examination for class 10th and 12. For this reason, in 2019, vocational examinations were started from February 15 to avoid any delay. However, in 2020, the practical examinations are anticipated to begin by December, which also means that the date sheets are expected to be released by the end of November.

This is really bad for the 10th grade and 12th grade students as they have to prepare for the exam very early.
But this also helps the students to manage their time consumption properly.

I think that the 12th board exam can start from march like before. But as it is a decision from our education system. They might have thought a lot about this. I respect that. But 12th students need some more days between each subject as it is important for their future. Hope to see the change.
