Maharashtra Board Class 10 Math Syllabus for 2014-15

For 2014-15, the syllabus for Maharashtra SSC Math for Class 10 has been prepared in a way that students not only study the topics for exams, but also apply them in everyday studies. The syllabus prepared for this year's Maharashtra SSC Math will enhance students' interest in topics like Arithmetic Progressions and Geometric Progressions, Quadratic equations, Linear equations in two variables and Probability. These chapter are conceptualised with the aim to improve Maharashtra SSC Class 10 students' knowledge in the subject and take notes for the next class as well.

Objectives:

1. Consolidate the knowledge and skills acquired in Mathematics at primary stage.

2. Acquire the knowledge and skills required for various competitive examinations.

3. Acquire the skills required for various professions where minimum qualification is Standard X.

4. Acquire the skills in Mathematics required for self employment.

5. Expertise in basic Mathematical skills.

6. Build the confidence and develop creative interest in Mathematics.

7. Use the available modern technology to understand the concepts in Mathematics

8. Understand and use the terms, symbols, principles in Mathematics.
