The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) & Medical Council of India held the NEET Phase II exam on Sunday, July 24, 2016. Lakhs and lakhs of medical aspirants gave the exam for entrance to MBBS and BDS courses. The exam was comprised of 180 objective type questions based on Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) and was held for a duration of three hours from 10 am to 1 pm.
Our team of experts did a thorough analysis of the paper and found out that NEET Phase II exam was bit easier than Phase I. The paper was more aligned towards conceptual problems, whereas numerical problems were based on direct application of the formula. Experts also noticed that few questions were not from NCERT textbooks. The Physics and the Chemistry section in NEET Phase II was easier than NEET Phase I but their solutions were lengthy. The Biology section was much more balanced than in Phase I, covering all the topics wisely.
The official answer keys of NEET Phase II will be released on August 7, 2016. All candidates may check the same on the official website: www.aipmt.nic.in
Approximately 4.7 lakh candidates had registered to appear for the examination at various centres. The phase I exam of NEET was successfully on May 1.
