As can be seen, the structure of graphite basically consists of stacked layers. So, in order to depict the structure of graphite, you first need to draw simple hexagons such that they are packed together. Following is the diagram of a hexagon

Draw a similar layer of closely packed hexagons just below this layer, such that each hexagon of second layer is below the first layer. Join the hexagons in the two parallel layers by means of straight lines. You will get the structure of graphite.
