Facial and meridional isomers are found in octahedral complexes of MA3B3 type.

Facial Isomer (fac-isomer): It is the cis isomer form of the complex in which the similar groups of ligands are at the corners of one of the octahedral faces.

Meridonial (mer-isomer): It is the trans form of the complex in which the two different groups are at the corners of one of the octahedral faces .

For ex: in case of [RhCl3(py)3]. both the isomers are shown as:
