how to construct square root spiral of irrational numbers using number line.

1)Draw a line of 1 unit on number line and draw a perpendicular of length 1 unit from other end of line. 2)Now join extreme ends of both perpendiculars. since both lines are of 1 unit , hypotenuse will be of 1+1=23)Now on this hypotenuse again draw a prependicular of length 1 and join extreme endsnow it will be 1+2=3and so on complete spiral can be drawn.

 first draw a number line. At one draw a perpendicular. take a distance between one and two in compass. make an arc on the perpendicular.let this point be A . join point A & zero.a right angled triangle is formed. on it's hypotenuse drop the perpendicular . repeat the procedure.
