Let the no.s be x and y such that x y

According to the 1^st condition, we have

2x - 20 = y

2x - y - 20 = 0 -(i)

According to the 2^nd condition, we have

2y - 5 = x

x - 2y + 5 = 0 -(ii)

Solving (i) and (ii) by cross - multiplication method, we have

x/(-5 - 40) = y/(-20 - 10) = 1/(-4 + 1)

-x/45 = -y/30 = -1/3

x = 15, y = 10

So, the no.s are 10 and 15
