26. (i) Give the expressions for the gravitational force exerted by the earth on a point mass m located above, below and on the surface of earth. Hence, deduce the expression for g on earth's surface.

Yes surely you can write the equation of variation of gravitational acceleration at the surface of earth , at depth h and at height h above the surface of earth .
Also use the value of g at the surface of earth as 9.8 m/s2 .But it wil change surely at depth h and at height h above the surface of earth respectively .
