I agree with the following statement. As, a rise in unemployment is observed despite a right in the employment opportunities during the five year plans.
Because, The goals of a Five- Year Plan (FYP) are to achieve an inclusive economic growth in all sectors through the modernization of a self- reliant economy. Modernisation is defined as greater acceptability and adoption of modern techniques and technology in order to increase the overall productivity and total volume of production of goods and services. Modernisation as a planning objective not only results in the greater production capacity of the economy but also results in change in the outlook of a country.
So, the importance of Service Sector increases. From this, the use of machinery, technology also increases. Also, there was a rapid growth in the population of our country. That was a very most important reason of creating unemployment situation in our country.
