Can the reaction Cr2O7 2- + H2O = Cr2 04 2- + 2 H+ can be regarded as redox reaction

The above reaction is not a redox reaction since the oxidation state of Cr in reactant is +6 and in product it is +3. Hence it gets reduced but no other atom is being oxidised and in a redox reaction both oxidation and reduction must take place. Hence it is not a redox reaction.
