Distinguish between butan-2-ol and 2-Methyl propan-2-ol...Can u plz also give the chemical reaction involved?

But-2-ol give ketones on oxidation while 2-methyl prop-2-ol gives propene and carboxylic acid.

For example:

   (CH₃)₃C-OH  + 2[O]  →  CH₃CH=CH₂  + HCOOH + H₂O
