Draw an angle of an equilateral triangle and bisect it
Dear Student,
Please refer the following steps for construction
1)Draw line PQ with help of ruler. let the length of PQ=6 cm.
2) From point P, take an arc using compass using the compass arc as same as the length of PQ.
3) keeping point P as base, draw the arc of length 6 cm using compass.
4) From point Q, draw the arc of length 6 cm using compass.
5) The arc's drawn in step 3 and 4 bisect at a point. mark the point as R.
6) Join PR and QR.
7) Triangle PQR is equilateral triangle with side 6 cm.
8) from point Q as base, make an arc on QR at point B.
9) From point Q as base, make an arc on QP at point A.
10) From point B draw an arc.
11) from point A draw another arc and bisect the arc drawn in step 10 , mark this point as C.
12) Join point Q to point C.
13) QC is angle bisector.
