Draw the graphs of the equations 3x-2y=4 and x+y-3=0 in the same graph paper. Find the co-ordinates of the point where two lines intersect.

Given :   3x  - 2y  =   4  , x + y  - 3 =  0

To find : draw the graph and find the coordinates of the point where the two graph lines intersect

Solution:

3x  - 2y  =   4

x + y  - 3 =  0

put x = ( 3 - y) in 1st

=> 3(3 - y) - 2y = 4

=> 9 - 5y = 4

=> -5y = -5

=> y = 1

=> x = 2

x 3x-2y = 4 x + y - 3 =0

( 2, 1) is the intersection points
