Essay on man is natures biggest enemy.

Dear student

The following question tests your creativity and should be attempted on your own. However here are a few useful hints.

- The Earth was once populated by a variety of flora and fauna.
- But quite often we see that animals and plants die out, and humans seem to be the reason behind their death.
- Whether it be through deforestation, hunting or polluting the environment, mankind is responsible for the continuous destruction of nature and its inhabitants.
- In building our cities, we have encroached upon the natural habitat of several species of animals.
- With nowhere to go, these animals die quickly due to the inability to adapt at a rapid rate.
- Building cities has also promoted deforestation, the effects of which can be seen in rapid climate change and global warming.
- Events such as drought and floods are very common now.
- In the name of development, we pollute the air and water bodies by pumping pollutants into them, thus affecting birds, animals and marine life.
- The Ganges river dolphin, India's national aquatic animal, is now an endangered animal, due to our recklessness.
- Unnecessary poaching has also affected nature and wildlife. For example, the Bengal tiger, India's national animal, is close to extinction due to poaching.
- If we don't make a conscious effort to protect nature, all of our wildlife will soon die out.
