Explain the term inductive reactance. State it's unit and dimensions

Dear Student,
Inductive reactance:
Inductive reactance is an effective opposition to the change of current on an element.It is represented as XL.
The unit of inductive reactance is ohm and its dimensions are [ML2T-3I-2].
                                     XL = ωL = 2πvL
where L = inductance
v = frequency of ac supply.
