Inductive reactance is an effective opposition to the change of current on an element.It is represented as X_{​​​​​​L}.
The unit of inductive reactance is ohm and its dimensions are [ML²T^-3I^-2].
                                     X_{​​​​​​L} = ωL = 2πvL
where L = inductance
v = frequency of ac supply.
