Frequency of direct current is zero. Why ?!..

Dear Student,
                       We  Know  AC varries with time from some maximum to minimum 
                       There is a cycle of changing current inverse of time of compliting this cycle 
                        is called frequency but in direct current there is no maximum and minimum so 
                      there is no cycle and hence frequency zero .
