Give ALL steps of naming organic compounds like in the present of both halogen as well as an halogen or a functional group along with which shall be given more preference and the least number while naming and all the required stuffs. Pleaseee expertss!

The following steps must be carried out while naming organic compounds with two halogen groups or one halogen and one other functional group.

Identify all the functional groups present on the carbon chain and assign them priority. The highest priority group should be written as one.

Halogens have the least priority as compared to other functional group.

A. While naming compounds having one halogen group and one other functional group, number the chain so that the other functional group lands on the lower carbon.

B. While writing the name if there is more than one type of halogen atom

then numbering is done according to the rule of first point of difference and after that halogen atom prefixes in ascending alphabetical order. Example:

If two halogen atoms are at same positions, the one to be given the lower number is that is written first in the name. Example:

However, the carbon with more substituents should be given least number. Example
