How does the air friction increase the velocity of satellite.

Dear Student,
                        Due to drag of air , potential energy of orbiting setellite decrease and hence  it gets lower 
                         radius of orbiting . And due to conservation of energy its kinetic energy increases .
                       So its velocity increases .
