How many types of circulatory pathways are observed in our body? Where one circuit ends ,otger starts , Justify

Dear student,
Please find below the answer:

There are two types of circulatory pathways observed in the human body:

  1. Systemic circulation is maintained by the left ventricle which sends the blood into the aorta, supplying oxygenated blood to various parts of the body. From there deoxygenated blood is collected by the venules which join to form veins and finally vena cava and pour blood back into the right auricle of the heart. Thus, systemic circulation starts from left ventricle and end at right auricle of the heart.
  2. Pulmonary circulation starts from right ventricle, which sends the blood into the pulmonary artery to reach the lungs. From the lungs, oxygenated blood returns to the left auricle of the heart through pulmonary veins. Thus, pulmonary circulation starts from right ventricle and end at left auricle of the heart.
Hope this clears your doubt.
Regards.
