Hey!First do prime factorisation then the numbers left u will write them beside the no. Eg. 12-2*2*3 8-2*2*2 so the HCF is 4 next comes the LCM first do prime factorisation then whatever is in the right of it write it down beside the no.Eg 12-2*2*3 8-2*2*2 so the LCM is 24 in HCF we have to multiply the common numbers and in LCM we have to multiply the common number and then all the left numbers.
