in question 9,let the angle be x
and its compliment be 4x
​then
x + 4x = 90
5x = 90
x = 90
       5
x = 18

so, first angle is 18
and its compliment is 90 - 18 = 72

you can verify it by multiplying 18 by 4.you will get 72

in question 10,let the angle be x 
and its supplement be 5x

x + 5x = 180
6x = 180
x = 180
        6
x = 30

so, first angle is 30
and its supplement is 180 - 30 = 150

you can check it by multiplying 30 by 5.you will get 150
