I want a brief description of electroplating with an example and a well labeled diagram?

Electroplating is the process of deposition of required metal on the given metal.We can electroplate Spoon, accessories etc to prevent them for reacting with other chemical substance.Metal which is deposited over the metal is generally inert and does not react easily and thus protecting it from corroding.
Chromium prevents from the Rust formation it generally coated on steel utensils and objects.
Since silver is an inert metal thus it is used in electroplating.
