When we want to construct triangle PQR , and given Length of QR and
base angle Q and PQ - PR ( That means PQ > PR )
,

So we do all the measurement above the given line
QR

And

IF we have â€‹to construct triangle PQR , and
given Length of QR and base angle Q and PR - PQ ( That means PR
> PQ ) ,

So we do all the measurement below the given line QR

Example:
Construct a triangle ABC where BC=8 cm, angle B = 45, AB-AC=3 5
cm
