if the nuclear membrane has integral proteins too then why there is a need of nuclear pore for transportation in nuclear membrane?

Dear student,
Nuclear membrane is a double membrane structure where nuclear pore is formed by the fusion of  outer and inner nuclear membrane. Each inner and outer nuclear membrane has integral membrane proteins but can not connect the nucleoplasm with the cytoplasm. Nuclear pore connects nucleoplasm with the cytoplasm thus it helps regulate the movement of molecules from nucleoplasm to cytoplasm and vice - versa.
