In ncert nowhere it is mentioned that seed dormancy is controlled by auxin . But answer is auxin for given question . Why ABA is incorrect ?

because ABA makes seed dormant. and it does not play a role in seed development. So, ABA will be incorrect. Auxin on the other hand would cause breaking of dormancy and growth of the embryo and other parts.
