Yes , atomic mass is {almost} double the atomic number of the
element,
For example atomic number of C is 6 and Atomic mass is 12
Similarly for Oxygen atomic number is 8 and atomic mass is 16
For Chlorine atomic number is 17, and atomic mass is 35 5
