Lithium has very strong nuclear charges due to it's small size then how can it have the most negative electrode potenial?

Dear student
Please find the solution to the asked query:

Lithium possess  small size, high reactivity and high hydration enthalpy and  lowest reduction potential therefore behaves as strongest reducing agent in aqueous medium. This can be seen in electrochemical series, where lithium is at the top of series in increasing order of reduction potential.
