If it is safe to jump from a height of 2m on surface of earth , what is its value on surface of moon ?

Dear Student ,
The value of acceleration due to gravity on the surface of the moon is 1/6 of its value on the surface of the earth .
So , we can write that ,
mg'h'=mghg6h'=2gh'=12 m
So you can jump from a height of 12 m on the surface of the moon safely .

Potential energy stored at 2m. on earth = mg(2)
Since gravity at moon is 1/6th of that on earth. Therefore g'=g/6
mg'(h) = mg(2)
From here h=12 metres.

Or

You can even check with final velocity.
v=?(2gh)
