A-406 Jeevan Vihar New Delhi June 14, 2018 The Editor The Time of India New Delhi Subject: The Nuisance of Loud Noise at Night Sir I am writing this letter to express my anguish and annoyance over the problems caused by loud noise at night. A few days ago there was a marriage in our neighborhood. The noisy marriage celebrations lasted till morning. I had may exam the next day; unfortunately, my grandpa was also sick! Neither he could sleep peacefully, nor I could revise my syllabus much! There are thousands of students like me and patients like my grandfather who have to suffer on account of this problem. I on behalf of all the students and general people of the city plead and appeal to concerned authorities to look into the matter and ensure proper peace after 11 p.m. so that we can study and sleep peacefully. I am hopeful you will give enough space to my views in your newspaper Thanking you, Yours truly, Namita
