Cr2(SO4)3 + 5Na2O2 → 2Na2CrO4 + 3Na2(SO4) + O2

Peroxide on heating releases oxygen, here sodium peroxide Na2O2 reacts with chromium (III) sulphate (Cr2(SO4)3) to give sodium chromate (Na2CrO4) and sodium sulphate (Na2(SO4) along with the release of one oxygen molecule.

Hence, the correct option is (a).
