What do you observe in the given figure ? Explain your interpretation. 

Dear Student

The shown figure represents Archimedes Principle.
Archimedes principle says that when an object is immersed in a liquid the apparent loss of weight of an object is equal to the upthrust and this is also equal to the weight of the liquid displaced.

So in second figure as stone is immersed in beaker, it displaces some amount of liquid which is equal to the weight of the stone and hence the level of liquid rises in other beaker.
