plz tell me the meaning of terribly transiet feet ?
given in this poem ( a photograph ).

In the poem "A Photograph" , terribly transient is a transferred epithet. The feet of humans are called transient because human is mortal and the life is short lived unlike the eternal sea. While the poet looks at the photograph, she realises that everything has changed. Her mother is not more a young girl. The innocence, the happy attitude, the charm and life of the photograph has disappeared. The only thing that has not changed is the immortal sea. This is a transferred epithet as the human life is temporary and not the feet basically.

It is referring to human beings that they are always changing but the nature or sea has not changed yet!
