prove that:

(sin theta +cosec theta) square + (cos theta + sec theta)square - (tan square theta +cot square theta) = 7

L.H.S

sin square theta + cosec square theta + 2 sin theta x 1/sin theta + cos square theta + sec square theta + 2 cos theta x 1/cos theta - tan square theta - cot square theta

= sin square theta + cos square theta + 2 + 2 + cosec square theta + 1 - cosec square theta + sec square theta + 1 - sec square theta

( using 1 + tan square theta = sec square theta and 1 + cot square theta = cosec square theta )

= 1 +2 + 2 +1 +1

= 7 = R.H.S

sin square theta + cosec square theta + 2 sin theta x 1/sin theta + cos square theta + sec square theta + 2 cos theta x 1/cos theta - tan square theta - cot square theta
= sin square theta + cos square theta + 2 + 2 + cosec square theta + 1 - cosec square theta + sec square theta + 1 - sec square theta
( using 1 + tan square theta = sec square theta and 1 + cot square theta = cosec square theta )
= 1 +2 + 2 +1 +1
= 7 = R.H.S

L.H.S sin square theta + cosec square theta + 2 sin theta x 1/sin theta + cos square theta + sec square theta + 2 cos theta x 1/cos theta - tan square theta - cot square theta = sin square theta + cos square theta + 2 + 2 + cosec square theta + 1 - cosec square theta + sec square theta + 1 - sec square theta ( using 1 + tan square theta = sec square theta and 1 + cot square theta = cosec square theta ) = 1 +2 + 2 +1 +1 = 7 = R.H.S Hence Proved
