Dear studentIf the question asks you to descirbe sample space then you need to write the whole sample space as it is done in the question you gave
 On the other hand if the question asks about number of elements then you can directly use that the number of elements will be 6n, n is the number of dice thrown
If in the question you are not aksed to write sample space but compute probabilities then also you can write number of elements in sample space using 6n
