(i) The wave used in the satellite communication are microwaves and the radio waves. Microwaves of the shorter wavelength 10 cm to 1 m while radio waves are of wavelength more than 10 m.
(ii) The ultraviolet radiation are used to kill germs in range of 260 - 270 nm
(iii) To check the oil leakage in the oil pipe are X-rays of wavelength range of 0.01 nm to 2 nm
(iv) To improve the night vision the infrared rays is used of the wavelength of 700 nm
