It is a p-type semi conductor. As electrons from valance band will jump to acceptor energy level, which is shown just above valance band, thus creating holes in valance band.This way number of holes will be>> number of electrons.One can see in the figure that number of holes will be>> number of electrons.Hence it is p-type semi conductor
