7) Electronic configuration of Si (ground state)= 1s​22s22p2
     Electronic configuration of Si (excited state)= 1s​22s12p3
Thus, there are 4 unpaired electrons which form four bonds with 4 electrons of 4 hydrogen.
Bond pair = 4, lone pair = 0, steric no. = 4 + 0 =4. Therefore geometry is tetrahedral and since no lone pair so no repulsion and the shape is same as geometry i.e. tetrahedral with 109.4o bond angle.
