Some plants flower once in their life time and die. How? give examples of such plant

Some plants flower only once and they die after that are called monocarpic plants. Due to the formation of flower and fruit these plants releases hormones which helps in collecting resources from roots and leaves for the formation of flowers and fruits which causes some changes in plants and ultimately leads to death of plant.
Example:- Bamboos, Agave, Strobilanthes etc.
