In right Î”ADF, $A D^{2} + D F^{2} = A F^{2} \Rightarrow A D^{2} + 5^{2} = 13^{2} \Rightarrow A D^{2} + 25 = 169 \Rightarrow A D^{2} = 169 - 25 \Rightarrow A D^{2} = 144 \Rightarrow A D = 12 c m = h$ As, we know that, $A r e a o f t r a p e z i u m = \frac{1}{2} \times (S u m o f p a r a l l e l s i d e s) \times h e i g h t$ = $\frac{1}{2} ï¿½ (10 + 20) ï¿½ 12$ = 180 cm 2
