the peepal tree gives out oxygen at night also so photosyntheseis occurs during night
Dear student,
Plants such as peepal perform a different type of photosynthesis known as crassulacean acid metabolism(CAM). There stomata remain closed during day to prevent the loss of water through transpiration. They take in carbon-dioxide at night and release oxygen but in very less amounts. However, they also release large amounts of oxygen at day time also but do not take CO2 during day.
