we know that we need a light source,an opaque object and a screen to see the paticular object's
shadow . But my question is that where is the shadow of a plane's or even a bird's shadow in the ground???
Dear Student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query:
The shadow has two parts umbra which is formed at a very small distance and is not visible due to unavailability of a screen, the second part or the penumbra is to large and too faint to be visible on the ground. This is why we do not see the shadow of objects flying high in the sky.
Hope this information will clear your doubts about (Light).
