what a slit

When the river begains its upper course,( the starting of a river) it picks up small rocks. In its journey to the lower course (when the river meets the sea) it meets the middle course(the middle stage in the journey to lower course)in which the rocks hit each other and breaks into very tiny sand particles. These sand particles

finally form snd in the river bank (land beside the river) this sand is rich and good for crops and this sand is called silt.

It is the alluvium deposited by the rivers. Rivers collect soil and other fine particles in their coarse through the mountains. This gets deposited on slope of the mountain ,thereby forming plain.

Silt is a sedimentry rock that is carried by water such as creeks and rivers. It is used for growing crops as it is rich, and really fertile soil..
