Nucleus membrane or nuclear envelope is the outer covering that surrounds the nucleus. The nuclear envelope separates the nucleus from the cytoplasm. The nuclear membrane contains many pores and encloses the liquid ground substance, the nucleoplasm. It is found in both animal and plant cell.
