What is Rh grouping & on what factors it depends
Experts answer fast

Solution:

There is one more type of blood group system found in humans apart from ABO blood group system known as Rh blood group system.
  • Rh factor or Rhesus factor is a type of antigen present in the red blood cells of around 85% of total population.
  • Individuals with Rh antigens present on RBCs are Rh positive and those without it are Rh negative.
Whether a person is Rh positive or negative depends on the way genes were passed down from the parents.
  • If both the parents are Rh positive, the baby may be Rh positive or negative.
  • If both parents are Rh negative, the baby will also be Rh negative.
