what is scalene , isosceles , equilateral triangle

scalene , equilateral and isosceles are categories of triangles based on sides wherein -
Scalene is when no sides are equal
equilateral is where  all the sides are equal  and

When the lengths of the three sides of a triangle is equal then it is called an equilateral triangle.
When the lengths of any two sides of a triangle is equal then it is called an isoceles triangle.
When the lengths of no side of a triangle is equal then it is called a scalene triangle.

In geometry, an equilateral triangle is a triangle in which all three sides are equal. In the familiar Euclidean geometry, equilateral triangles are also equiangular; that is, all three internal angles are also congruent to each other and are each 60°.
A scalene triangle is a triangle that has three unequal sides.
In geometry, an isosceles triangle is a triangle that has two sides of equal length. Sometimes it is specified as having two and only two sides of equal length, and sometimes as having at least two sides of equal length, the latter version thus including the equilateral triangleas a special case.

1.WHEN ALL SIDES OF A TRIANGLE ARE EQUAL ITS CALLED EQUILATERAL TRIANGLE.
2.WHEN ANY 2 SIDES ARE EQUAL ITS CALLED ISOSCELES  TRIANGLE
3.WHEN ALL SIDES ARE UNEQUAL  THEN ITS CALLED SCALENE TRIANGLE.
