Equilateral triangles are those triangles in which all the sides are of equal length.
Isosceles triangles are those triangles in which 2 sides are equal in length and 1 sisde is of different length.
Scalene triangles are those triangles in which all the sides are of different lengths.

When the lengths of the three sides of a triangle is equal then it is called an equilateral triangle.
