What kind of materials should we choose to make temporary magnets?

Dear student
Iron,The materials from which temporary magnets are made are called hard magneticmaterials, and typically consist of iron, nickel, cobalt and some rare earth alloys. Once magnetized, these materials tend to maintain their magnetism for long periods of time.
Iron and cobalt can be used to make a temporary magnet. These materials behave like magnets only when they are near a strong magnet.
